Belgium has an exceptional, rich art history with masters from the 19th and 20th centuries who strongly influenced the visual language of their time. Yet we recognize icons such as Picasso or Warhol more readily than artists from our own heritage. However, they were just as radical, human, and visionary.

Art is heritage. And heritage that is not seen disappears.
